Client: Flickerdeck
Duration: 6 days
Role: Brand, Lead designer
Overview:
Flickerdeck was creating a self-reflection app for Gen Z, blending the symbolic depth of tarot with a modern, approachable interface. They needed help turning their concept into a distinctive visual identity that could capture their values of clarity, playfulness, and meaning. We developed the brand’s visual direction from the ground up, ensuring the app felt engaging, cohesive, and true to its vision.
Processes and tools used
I used Figma to design and prototype the full app — from layout to components. For the card illustrations, I worked with Midjourney to create unique, expressive visuals that set the deck apart. Then I used Illustrator to build the supporting graphical elements that give the app its own look and feel. Together, these tools helped shape a flexible design system that could evolve with every new release.
My contribution
Led the visual direction for Flickerdeck from concept to delivery. Created the brand identity from scratch — including the logo, color palette, UI design, illustrations, and a set of graphical elements that give the app its own unique personality. Designed every screen, built the component system, and worked closely with the client throughout the process to shape a cohesive, meaningful product.
